Commitment to Achieving Net Zero<\/h3><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What2Learn Ltd is committed to achieving <strong>Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050<\/strong>, in line with the UK Government\u2019s target.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Current Emissions Reporting<\/h3><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a micro business operating remotely without physical premises, our carbon footprint is low. However, we have measured and reported the following:<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scope 1:<\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>Direct emissions<\/em>: None (no owned buildings or vehicles)<\/li><\/ul><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scope 2:<\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>Indirect emissions from electricity<\/em>: Minimal use through home office environments; estimated via supplier averages.<\/li><\/ul><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scope 3:<\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>Upstream\/downstream emissions<\/em>:<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Business travel: Low \u2014 primarily virtual meetings<\/li>\n\n<li>Cloud services and data hosting: Estimated via providers (e.g., AWS\/Moodle hosting)<\/li>\n\n<li>Employee commuting: None \u2014 remote working model<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are currently formalising data collection to improve Scope 3 reporting over time.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Environmental Management Measures<\/h3><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are applying the following environmental practices in service delivery:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Remote-first business model to eliminate commuting and office energy use<\/li>\n\n<li>Low-carbon digital infrastructure (cloud-based LMS with efficient hosting)<\/li>\n\n<li>Preference for digital documentation and communications to reduce paper waste<\/li>\n\n<li>Collaboration with suppliers who are also committed to sustainability<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Carbon Reduction Initiatives<\/h3><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To progress toward Net Zero, we plan to:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Track emissions more accurately using dedicated carbon accounting tools<\/li>\n\n<li>Offset unavoidable emissions via certified offsetting schemes<\/li>\n\n<li>Select hosting providers committed to renewable energy and efficient data centre use<\/li>\n\n<li>Promote sustainable content delivery (compressed media, low-energy file formats)<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
