Alarmingly, many young people have been involved in these incidents, underscoring the urgent need for schools to play a pivotal role in fostering inclusivity and challenging racist ideologies.<\/p><p>Educators can face difficulties in addressing racist behaviour and promoting inclusivity, including understanding cultural differences, recognising implicit biases, and effectively intervening in incidents of discrimination. Implementing effective anti-racist strategies is essential for fostering a positive school climate that supports all learners.<\/p><p>What2Learn has identified the need for a focused CPD course to equip teachers with practical tools and knowledge to effectively challenge racism in schools. We are aiming for a 1 CPD-hour course as educators are time-poor. With time for assessment, this leaves the need for around  40 minutes of learning time. Below is a suggested course outline but we are happy to take the lead from authors on the most appropriate content.
