What Are Time Connectives? Game to test yourself!

A time connective is something that allows a writer to connect things that happen at different times. They inform the reader that the narrative has jumped in time. Examples include then, next and before.

The hangman-style game below was created to help KS3 English students to learn a range of time connectives. How many will you get right?

Can you think of any time connectives not included in this game? Please leave a comment below to suggest some more.
