The ‘Building Learning, Building Schools’ Programme
Make a powerful difference to education at home and abroad.
The United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals, Goal 2 states:
What2Learn Ltd has partnered with the charity ‘Build A School’. When you purchase account(s) at What2Learn, half of the proceeds will be used by Build A School to fund the building of classrooms in developing countries. What does this actually mean?
Your account(s) will help you to build learning through access to thousands of interactive learning games. You will also gain access to monitoring tools, in-built rewards and our fantastic learning game generator which makes it incredibly easy for teachers and students to create their own interactive educational activities.
With half of the proceeds from your purchase going to the ‘Build A School’ charity, you will help to provide educational opportunities for children less fortunate than our own and help countries in the developing world to achieve their Millennium Development Goals.
To help you visualise the scale of the impact your support will make, each full priced student account (£5) facilitates the purchase of 190 locally produced bricks for the construction of schools in Africa, and each teacher account (£25) enables an incredible 950 bricks to be purchased!
