Get W2L accounts for your students |
Option One: Do-it-yourself!
The recommended option. We have a free, automated system to generate student accounts . Please feel free to use this system to create an account for yourself so you can take a look at What2Learn. You can use this system to create as many accounts as you need. You could even provide lesson time to allow the students to make their own accounts.
If your students do not all have access to an email address you can create an email address at yahoo, write this on your board and get your students to type this in when creating their account. If you keep this account open in the lesson and keep refreshing the page you will be able to activate the accounts for students. Warning: If you create accounts this way students will not be able to manage their own accounts if they forget their username or password.
Top tips:
- Students should try to register using the same username that they use to log on to the school network – it is one less thing for them to remember!
- Get students to write down their username and password in their planners once they have activated their accounts and successfully logged in for the first time.
- Get students to enter your unique teacher number in the share code box as soon as they log in.
Option Two: Ask us to bulk-create accounts for your school
We are able to bulk-create all of the accounts for the students in your school. This will save you time and will enable you to keep a central record of all of the student account details. In addition to having all accounts created you will receive a deployment pack helping you to get your students, staff and parents started with What2Learn.
