Expanding brackets

This Mathematics game was created by a visitor to What2Learn using our Game Machine. The description provided by the game author is shown.

Expand the brackets correctly to avoid being eaten by the shark!
Subject: Mathematics
Topic: Algebra
Audience: Aimed at 11-16 year olds
Instructions: students should learn how to expand brackets first. Students should move on to factorising expressions after this.

One note with this game – you will need to make sure you add spaces inbetween each part of your equations once you have expanded the brackets. For example, instead of ‘4x+2’ you should type ‘4x + 2’.
